Green-Wood’s cherished Memorial Day concert is back for its 25th year, and it’s sure to be a celebration you won’t want to miss! Grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and bring your friends to enjoy this beloved tradition that marks the unofficial start of summer. This year, we welcome back the talented musicians of the ISO Symphonic Band at Third Street, led by music director Paul Corn and guest conductor Brian P. Worsdale.

Price: Free.

The concert will feature stirring works that honor those who have served in the armed forces, while also spotlighting music by some of Green-Wood’s own permanent residents, including James Weldon Johnson, Fred Ebb, and Leonard Bernstein. Plus, enjoy a selection of contemporary pieces by a diverse range of composers. It’s a perfect way to commemorate the past while celebrating the beauty of music and community!

Free. Please consider a donation to the Green-Wood Historic Fund so that we can continue to offer free and low-cost programs for families throughout the year.
