Green-Wood’s 478 acres boast a dazzling array of vistas, flora and fauna. But the grounds are also a premier collection of monumental sculpture and design. Tour guides Karen Lemmey, curator of sculpture at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Jeff Richman, Green-Wood’s resident historian, know a good sculpture when they see one.

They will lead you on a tour of new sculpture like “The Greeter,” “The Angel of Music,” and “Civic Virtue;” portrait busts like Horace Greeley and Elias Howe; plus some of the more magnificent classic sculpture in Green-Wood.

Green-Wood’s public programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, as well as the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
